Great location with fast access to the Skytrain, right next to a large shopping mall. The room had comfy beds, a microwave, and a fridge which was super handy. Loved the outdoor heated pool. Staff were welcoming and the breakfast had decent options like eggs and pastries, but I wished for more fruit choices.

Recommended for a reasonable stay
The team there was really sweet and accommodating, made me feel welcomed. Breakfast was solid, loved the variety even if I wished for some better toppings on the oatmeal.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still acceptable for what you get.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Burnaby for two nights in a Standard King Room. The location is fantastic, right next to Metrotown, making shopping super convenient. The SkyTrain station is just across the street, perfect for exploring Vancouver without the hassle of driving. The staff were friendly and helped whenever I had questions. My room was clean and had a fridge and microwave, which made things easy. However, the breakfast options were limited. I found the oatmeal unappetizing, and the overall selection didn't meet my expectations. I hoped for more variety and better organization at breakfast. Also, I needed to ask for more water bottles, and it felt inconvenient to have to request those. Despite these issues, the comfort of the bed and spaciousness of the room were definite highlights of my stay. I also noticed that the hotel is integrating into the surrounding area well, with plenty of dining options nearby.
